When Porsche "upgraded" their Radiator design in the early 1990's to incorporate plastic necks, and composite components, the failure rate of Porsche Radiators has gone up significantly. It is not unusual for these to fail at 50K Miles. If you have made it to 80K miles, consider your self driving on borrowed time. It will fail, its only a matter of time. Unfortunately, its usually in dramatic fashion, or when its least convenient. Dont forget to carefully inspect your hoses and overflow tank as well. Hoses should be replaced every 80K-100K Miles
